Description

This Everything Bagel Sourdough Bread is a savory, flavorful twist on classic sourdough—perfect for any time of day.


Ingredients

310 grams warm water (1 ⅓ cups)

120 grams active sourdough starter (½ cup)

500 grams bread flour (4 cups + 2 tbsp)

1 ½ teaspoons salt

23 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning


Instructions

1. Combine starter and water in a bowl until mixed.

2. Add flour and salt; mix to form a shaggy dough.

3. Cover and rest for 1 hour.

4. Stretch and fold the dough 6 times with wet hands.

5. Cover and let rise for 6–8 hours.

6. Shape and score dough; sprinkle seasoning on top and press gently.

7. Preheat oven to 500°F with Dutch oven inside.

8. Place dough in Dutch oven, bake 15 min with lid on.

9. Remove lid, reduce to 450°F and bake 25 min more.

10. Cool completely before slicing.

Notes

Let bread cool fully to avoid gumminess.

Store in a towel or bread box up to 4 days.

To freeze: wrap in foil and freeze up to 3 months.
